This will be the fourth year that the show has crossed the road to The Slaits. The new ground has been more spectator friendly - this encourages more families to come and cheer on family or friends.
Again we will set-up seven rings in a horseshoe shape; this almost allows you to stand in the middle and watch every class.
The working hunter classes go from lead-rein ponies to open hunters. The course is large and cleverly put together with trees placed around fences to allow the rider "a feel" of jumping a hunting fence. The course is shortened for ponies not exceeding 13hh.
The show is design to cover a large selection of classes from show hunters and ponies, to ridden horses, breeding classes, mountain and moorland, affiliated CHAPS(UK), affiliated side-saddle, veteran, ex-race horse and cobs. We have an extensive show jumping ring run under two phase.
The Gymkhana classes go from tiny-tots to 12 years and under. The Utility classes go from Best Turned Out to Child's First Pony, Prettiest Mare or Handsomest Gelding, to name a few!
There will be seven rings for showing and three rings for dressage. The dressage rings give a chance for all to take part.
Food and refreshments will be available all day and local stalls are there for any horse or rider needs.
We will have two photographers there to catch you in your full glory.
As the show has grown over the years, the committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the helpers, judges and sponsors for their invaluable support in allowing the show to go ahead another year.
